Joe & I have known of each other since around 2017 when he was hired in Mansfield & I was his dispatcher. We didn’t talk much except for when I would Facebook message him asking if he was clear or still out on a detail or if he or I had questions about work related things. One of his co-workers would always tell me that Joe thought I was pretty but I never took it seriously until November 12, 2020. He messaged me information I needed for an incident & we haven’t stopped talking since!

On Friday, November 13, 2020, Lauren (bridesmaid), Ashley (Matron of Honor) & I went out to our favorite bar (Old town pub) to have a few drinks and grab food since I had the weekend off. After most nights out, we would always go back to Ashley’s house to hang out which just happened to be in the same neighborhood as Joe’s house. On our way back from Old town pub, I told Ashley how my new friend lived down the street from her but I wasn’t sure where exactly, just the street name. While we were driving she pointed to a house and said “I remember this one being for sale not too long ago” and I looked out the car window and saw one of his co-workers business signs in the front lawn and got out to see it closer. Once I got out of the car, I FaceTimed Joe saying “Look! It’s your friends sign!!” And he said that he heard me talking out front so he came outside to me holding the business sign dancing around with it (Yes I had a few drinks). I then remembered that he had a cat so I asked to meet her. Ashley and I went inside to meet the cat and we chatted a bit before leaving to go back to her house. If you ask Ashley or Joe, the story may be a little different, but I like mine better. 🤗 The next day, we hung out and went to Ashley & Dave’s for game night & the rest was history. We’ve been inseparable since!
