When is the RSVP deadline?

What should I wear?
The welcome party on Friday night will be cocktail attire. The ceremony and reception on Saturday is Black Tie. Black tie means formal evening wear:
- For men: a tuxedo with a bow tie, or a dark formal suit.
- For women: a long evening gown, calf-length or longer, or elegant pantsuit.
Can I bring a date?
Your invitation will indicate if you have a +1. If you are unsure, please feel free to ask us directly.
Are kids welcome?
As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony, reception, or welcome party.
Where should I park?
For guests staying at either the Marriot Uptown or the Le Meridain (Stonleigh), there will be a shuttle to and from the venue that will pick you up on Saturday, 3/1/25, at 4:45PM at the entrance of the hotel. For those driving, there will be valet available at the arboretum.
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes, and we will have a golf cart available for anyone needing assistance getting around the property!
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour are outdoors, but our reception will be in a covered tent.
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Calling all ladies! Do not wear stiletto heels. The ceremony will be on the grass field wear chunky heels or flats.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos. However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
Accommodations
A shuttle to the venue will stop to pick up guests at both hotels at 4:45PM on Saturday, March 1. The shuttle will return guests to the hotels by 11:30PM.

Your presence is enough of a present to us! But for those of you who are stubborn, we've put together a wish-list to help you out.
Story
One night, we both ended up at our local neighborhood bar- Chelsea Corner in Dallas, TX. We caught each other's eye from across the room, and when a free spot opened up next to Dalton at the bar, Tess stepped in and asked Dalton what he was drinking. "Dos Equis with lime, do you want a sip?" he asked. Despite a lifetime of advice never to take drinks from a stranger, Tess agreed, and the rest was history.

Our life in Dallas
We recently moved to Lake Highlands in Dallas with our two amazing dogs, Zulu (9) and Louis (1). We love walking around the neighborhood and trying new coffee shops and restaurants.
How did Dalton propose?
In April of 2024, Dalton's family planned a trip to Seaside, FL. Little did Tess know, this was more than a relaxing family getaway to the beach. Dalton spent months orchestrating every minute of the trip and compiled all of the details into a 4-page itinerary to share with his and Tess' family. On Thursday night, Dalton's parents walked to the square early to check on our dinner reservation. Since the "table wasn't ready yet," the group decided to meet at a local art gallery while we waited. Tess noticed we were taking a strange route (and that Dalton was the only one in a sports coat in sight) and we ended up on the lawn of the beautiful Seaside Chapel. A table was set up with candles, photos of us, and rose petals, and Dalton dropped to a knee. Both of our families popped out from around the corner to celebrate. It was the easiest "Yes" in Tess' life!
What's your favorite activity together?
We love to cook, travel, ride bikes, and spend time with family, friends, and our two pups <3
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
We plan to take a "mini-moon" after the wedding (somewhere sunny and warm!) and a longer trip to Spain sometime in fall 2025.
