Shuttles

Bullet Point Empty

Hiring a shuttle is the easiest way to travel from the airport in Puerto Vallarta to Sayulita. Your driver will be waiting with a sign at baggage claim, provide cold beers for your 45min ride, and stop at a grocery store along the way for you to stock up on limes and tequila. Once you get out of the city and into the jungle, ask to stop at a fruit stand for a coconut.

Bullet Point Empty

The round trip to/from the airport costs about $130 US for a suburban. Don’t forget to tip at least 10-15%, and buy a coconut for your driver. A single suburban can hold up to 7 people, so car pooling can make this a very inexpensive option.

Plane

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico (PVR-Licenciado Gustavo Diaz Ordaz Intl.)

Puerto Vallarta is the nearest airport to Sayulita. If you're traveling from San Diego, consider flying from Tijuana (Volaris has good deals on direct flights to PVR). The Cross Border Xpress (CBX) provides an enclosed pedestrian skywalk bridge into the Tijuana Airport for passengers who cross the U.S./Mexico border as part of their trip.

Note

The Villas!

Villa Amor, Amor Boutique Hotel and Hotel Villa Amor collectively manage the community of hillside villas that will be hosting our wedding ceremony and reception. Many of the villas managed by Villa Amor have been blocked for our event and feature incredible views of the Pacific, the town of Sayulita and beyond. Any of these villas will be a great option to stay close to the celebration. The on site restaurant and bar serve some of the best food and cocktails in town.

There are also many other beautiful properties available throughout Sayulita. We recommend finding accommodation on the outskirts of the town near Villa Amor.
