Story
Never did I imagine I would be on the brink of starting a life with someone I met on LinkedIn (of all places). Like any other potential Masters student who was granted an admit and waiting to join, she was picking my brain with questions on coursework etc. Fast forward three and a half years, tables are turned and this time it was me who popped the question (she obviously said yes!).
I applied to Indiana University Bloomington on deadline day, one semester late, and transferred from SUNY Buffalo University. She was granted admit in multiple Universities, but chose Indiana University. Though we are from neighboring states in India (Kerala and TamilNadu), we had to endure a long journey oceans apart to end up meeting, expressing, cheering, sharing, falling in love, and now marrying! #hoosiercouple
P.S. Anyone who is associated to Indiana is referred to as a Hoosier

What was your most memorable date?
Ah! Too difficult to pick one! (long pause) Probably our jet ski date in Alaska. I took her on a jet ski and we drove through the Pacific Ocean. We paused, gazed at deep blue glaciers, a huge ice calving, glacial waterfalls, seals seated on thin sea ice, sea otters swimming in the ocean, bald eagles in the woods, sea lions sleeping and listened to nothing but the sounds of birds and waterfalls.
What's your favorite activity together?
Hike, raft, repeat.
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
Bali and Hawaii (Yes, it's worthy of a repeat visit :)) To explore forests and beaches!
What's the best meal you have eaten together?
Lemon Pepper Shrimp from a Fumi's food truck in Hawaii!
What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?
It has to be Hawaii. Mountains to our right, beaches to our left, us in a Honda CBR 600rr on road :) Memorable 5 days filled with
cocktails, scuba diving, snorkeling, hang gliding, beauty all around.
