The Chautauqua Institution is about an 1 hr 21 min drive from the Buffalo Airport. If you plan to fly in, a rental car is encouraged as the area around the lake has limited options for Ubers or Lyfts.

Accommodations can be made starting after the New Year holiday in January 2025.

The Athenaeum Hotel is the main hotel of the wedding as it is the focal point of all activities and the reception. We encourage guests to stay here as it is convenient on the day of the wedding and it provides easy access to everything on the grounds of Chautauqua Institution. However, the hotel is an old, historic building and while Leslie and John love the charming character, we understand this may not be everyone’s preference. We also understand parties may want to tailor their stay to other personal travel plans. A few other recommended options are listed below. Please note, however, that travel will not be provided from these other hotels and locations on the day of the wedding.
