Q & A
When and where is the wedding?
The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at The Hillside Estate on Saturday, April 23, 2022. The ceremony will begin at 6:00pm. The reception will end at 11:00pm. Venue address: 901 Moseley Rd, Cross Roads, TX. See the Schedule page for additional events happening throughout the weekend.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP via our website at your earliest convenience by April 1st, 2022. Updates and additional details will be communicated via the app/website.
Can I bring a guest/date?
If you have been designated a "plus-one" it will be noted on your formal invitation. If you have any questions please let us know.
Are children welcome?
Yes, children are welcome to join us at both the ceremony and the reception. We kindly ask that you watch them closely and do not let them wander during the ceremony.
I am coming from out of town, where should I stay?
We ask that our guests stay with us at the Dallas/Plano Marriott at Legacy Town Center. We have reserved a hotel block to provide a reduced rate. This will also be the location of other related events throughout the weekend. We understand that some guests may not be able to meet this request, please see the Travel page for additional details.
What do you recommend for transportation?
Ride-sharing options such as Uber and Lyft are readily available. For the wedding ceremony we recommend you use the Uber "Scheduling" feature to ensure on-time arrival and decreased wait times. Rental cars are also available but not required. On-site parking will be available at both the wedding venue and the hotel.
What should I wear?
The wedding dress code is Black-Tie Optional. Here is a helpful guide with examples: pin.it/75MbpI6 For other events throughout the weekend, please refer to the Schedule page for attire recommendations.
Do you have a gift registry?
We purchased our first home in April 2021 so we already have many of the things you would see on a traditional gift registry. Taking that, and our many out of town guests, into account, we have created a "honeymoon fund" if you wish to make a contribution. You can find the link on the Registry page.
What will the weather be like?
April in North Texas is generally comfortable with highs of 77°F and lows of 56°F. Both the ceremony and reception will be held inside with an outside cocktail hour, weather permitting.
Whom should I contact with questions?
You can reach out to either the bride (941) 889-9989 or the groom (941) 726-7900 via call or text. Please note: as we get closer to the big day your questions may be redirected.

Story
Our story is pretty much the definition of cheesy "love at first sight". The first time we met was in chorus class. It was the first day of highschool for Delaney and the start of Nick's Sophomore year. We pretty much spent the entire hour staring at each other from across the bleachers and couldn't stop smiling. But the next day, Nick didn't show up to class. Turns out, he only joined chorus because there were a lot of girls and we got a free trip to Disney. When he found out he actually had to sing, he switched into computer class instead. Delaney messaged him on Facebook that night and asked "Did you switch out of chorus?" When he said he had switched, she replied "You should switch back ;)". Well, Nick switched back into chorus class the next day and the rest was history.
Tidbits
How did you first meet?
See Our Story!
Who made the first move? How?
Delaney made the first move when she messaged him on Facebook (throwback!) after the first day of school!
What was your most memorable date?
Our engagement! It was our 8 year anniversary and our first big date after moving to Dallas. We went to a special restaurant downtown overlooking the city. When we arrived we were sat at a small table in the back corner covered in rose petals. Since it was already our anniversary, Delaney didn't think much of it. During dinner, Nick said a beautiful prayer thanking God for Delaney and their relationship. They then ordered a bottle of wine and Nick said a really sweet toast about everything they had been through and toasted to their amazing future in their new home together. He then stood up (to which Delaney thought he was going to the restroom!) and got on one knee and proposed! There were lots of happy tears!!
What's your favorite activity together?
Bonfires and wine nights where you get lost in deep conversation! Also cooking our favorite meals together and snuggling to watch a new show.
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
Somewhere close considering how crazy things are right now! Taking suggestions but possibly Aruba or somewhere local like the beaches of Key West or the mountains of Tennessee?
What's the best meal you have eaten together?
The food on our engagement night was pretty incredible except that we were too emotional to finish our meals and then forgot our leftovers!! :(
We’re on the same page about
Pretty much everything! You kind of morph into the same person after 9 years and basically growing up together!

Registry
Your presence is enough of a present to us! For those wishing to give a gift, we have included links to our Honeymoon and House Renovation funds.
As you may know, we bought our first home in April so we have many of the traditional registry items but if you prefer to give a physical gift we have included some alternative options. We are so blessed to have the best friends and family. Thank you for being a part of our special day!
