Story

In Hebden Bridge on a jolly day out, our mutual friend, (shout out to Izzy Todd), introduced us and as they say, the rest is history.

We truly bonded over our love of the Lake District, taking the dogs, Lexi and then Sulley, on our wonderful adventures. Weekends in the campervan with the paddle boards in tow are our absolute favourite.

On the edge of Derwent water was where Tom proposed so naturally the wedding venue had to be in the Lakes.

In the stunning backdrop of Windermere, we cannot wait to celebrate with you all!

xoxo

Q & A

For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by the 2nd September, so we can have an accurate headcount. For those who RSVP after this date will need to bring and a chair and some sandwiches.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. We would love parents to let their hair down for the day!

What will the weather be like?

December in the Lake District is generally cold and wet so we advise bringing some warmer layers with you!

The wedding will be held indoors but the grounds and lakeside are beautiful and we highly recommend you explore.

If you plan on wearing some wonderful shoes, consider bringing along some more appropriate shoes - the access path down to the lake will not be muddy but is sloped & the lake edge itself has a pebbled beach.

An area for shoe storage will be provided if you wish to swap. We want to make sure all our guests feel comfortable!

Where should I park?

There is ample free parking in front of the wedding barn. Cars can be left overnight but will need to be collected by 11am the following day.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Yes, and we will have a golf cart available for anyone needing assistance getting around the property!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding ceremony is indoors and our post-ceremony drinks will be held in a heated marque outside the wedding barn.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Yes! We would love for you to take many, many photos!
However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.

Whom should I call with questions?

Please email Kirsty at k.l.sharp@hotmail.com.

Gifts

We have all we need in terms of material goods, but if you feel compelled to give us a wedding gift, we would be grateful if you could help us kick off our new life together by contributing to our honeymoon.

A honeymoon would allow us to make memories that will last a lifetime and get to spend our time together doing things we love and enjoy.

We promise to keep you updated on our journey and are so thankful that you are a part of our lives during this special time.

A note from Sulley - "Sausages please or the bar shall not open". . . . )
