Getting In
We recommend flying into Vancouver International Airport (YVR) for the ceremony. The post-ceremony events will be held in Whistler, which is easily accessible from Vancouver by either car or helicopter.
Getting Downtown
Rosewood Hotel Georgia is conveniently located in downtown Vancouver at the corner of Georgia and Howe Streets. Uber and taxi services are available at the airport, and private airport transfers can be arranged through the hotel concierge. The local SkyTrain system also runs directly from the airport to the city center (take the Canada Line from YVR to Waterfront Station).

The wedding ceremony & dinner reception will be held at the Rosewood in the afternoon & evening of Saturday, August 20, 2022. Whilst the bride & groom will be staying at the Rosewood the weekend of the celebration, there is a wide range of other options available in downtown Vancouver should guests prefer to stay elsewhere (including Shangri-La, Fairmont Pacific Rim, JW Marriott Parq Vancouver, Wedgewood Hotel & Spa, & The DOUGLAS, amongst others).

For those who are driving, the nearest parkade is located below CF Pacific Centre, access off Howe Street or Robson Street.

On the morning of Monday, August 22nd we will be departing Vancouver for post-celebration events in Whistler. The bride and groom will be staying for one week (August 22nd-27th), but guests are welcome to join for as long or as little as they like. Hiking, outdoor activities, breweries, and food & wine will be the focus.
Alas, there is no Aman in Whistler, so we have chosen the Four Seasons as our base for exploration. The Four Seasons has a range of rooms, suites, & private residences available, and is of course child-friendly. For those who prefer to stay elsewhere, there is a range of private villa & other hotel options both in Whistler village as well as in the surrounding countryside.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Can I bring a date?
Due to the venue capacity, we unfortunately cannot host any additional guests not formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please check your invite for your +1!
What time should I arrive?
Venue doors open at 4:00 p.m. with our ceremony beginning at 4:30 p.m. We kindly ask guests to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony.
Where should I park?
Overnight valet parking at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia is $56.36 CAD, in and out privileges apply. Day-use parking is $28.70 CAD. All parking is by valet; no self-parking is available. Valet parking can accommodate vehicles up to 7 feet (2.13 metres). Rates are tax-inclusive.
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Absolutely!
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony and reception will both take place indoors.
Will the ceremony and reception be socially distanced? Are masks required?
We are monitoring the PHO orders and will advise accordingly, closer to our wedding date.
What will the weather be like?
Summer temperatures in Vancouver are comfortable, averaging a high of 22° and low of 14°
What should I wear?
Cocktail attire, please.
Will you have babysitters on the premises?
Yes, we will have babysitters on-site to look after your little ones during the ceremony and dinner reception. They will be in a separate space but on the same floor as the events. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them on social media with our hashtag #tinanathan20220820
However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
Do you have a gift registry?
We simply request your loving presence. Should you wish to prepare a gift for the reception, a financial token/red packet for our little ones' futures would be very much appreciated!
