Story
Well, our story starts in Gainesville Florida, just 1 month after Tyler graduated from the UF physical therapy program. Tyler was busy studying night and day for the PT boards while Jami was busy teaching a class as an adjunct professor at UF. Some might say it was a sophisticated computer algorithm that brought us together, while others would argue it was just God's perfect timing/plan that set things in motion. Either way, our story isn’t the most conventional of tales. See, neither of us really saw it coming. Jami was in the middle of deciding if she would take a job in Orlando, while Tyler had planned on moving back to New Hampshire and begin his physical therapy career exploring the country as a travel physical therapist. Each of us had our own plan, but God has HIS. Neither of us knew that first date at Cry Baby’s (a small diner-style restaurant) would change so much, bringing both our lives together. After several dates over the next month, Tyler moved back up to New Hampshire and began looking for travel contracts in Florida. Turns out, EVERYONE else was doing the same thing, and he wasn’t able to find any contracts, so he took one in Colorado instead. While we wouldn’t see each other until late October, we never stopped talking to each other, calling, FaceTiming, and texting each other almost every day. After much prayer and deliberation, Tyler asked Jami to visit him in Colorado for some adventures in the Rocky Mountains. The rest is history!
Tidbits
How did you first meet?
See Our Story!
Who made the first move? How?
Tyler did, of course! How did he do it? Well, in the most suave way any man can! Asking the lady if he could buy her a drink, kicking off a great conversation, and an invitation to his next IT Band concert.
Who's going to take out the trash?
Tyler, of course! Jami may offer, but Tyler, the chivalrous man he is would never make the lady of the house do it! ;)
What was your most memorable date?
We’ve had many memorable dates, and look forward to many, many more! But if you ask Jami, she may tell you it was the date we went to a coffee shop, played board/card games, and discovered that Tyler is clearly not smarter than a 5th grader! Both of us remember that date as one that was filled with so much laughter and fun.
What's your favorite activity together?
We love staying active together! Whether it is bike riding, paddle boarding, skiing/snowboarding, jogging, or hiking, we enjoy our outdoor activities! We also really enjoy interacting with others and building friendships.
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
Anywhere with beautiful beaches! (Says Jami).. Anywhere with mountains!! (Says Tyler).. Stay tuned to see who the winner is! Or maybe we’ll open up a vote! Who knows!
What's the best meal you have eaten together?
Thats a tough question, as we have had so many amazing meals together! Whether it is our own creations, or eating out at a resaurant, we both enjoy great food! But if we were to narrow it down, there is one that stuck out to us and really surprised us both! It was in Columbus, GA at a restaurant called Stock Market Dueling Kitchens, and it was a truly amazing experience! Jami got a lobster mac and cheese, and Tyler got the Braised Lamb! We went in with realistic expectations, but little did we know, we would have the entire restaurant to ourselves, and have the owner waiting on us. What an experience!
What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?
The next one!
We’re on the same page about
God-centered fellowship/relationship, lasting relationships with genuine people/friends, family-centered, strong communication, and loyalty/respect for one another.
A life goal of ours
Travel as much as possible! Never lose sight of the many blessings in life.
The most spontaneous thing we’ve done
We’ve taken many spontaneous weekend trips, but I’d say the most spontaneous thing we’ve done goes all the way back to when we took a chance on each other, even though long-distance wasn’t something either of us wanted to do.
The dorkiest thing about us is
We make the weirdest/corniest jokes, and laugh at them. And by “we”.. We mean Tyler!
A social cause we care about
The New England Patriots next dynasty!
We are regulars at
The grocery store.. No, really! Always picking up some ingredients for the next meal we are cooking together!
Teach us something about
What do you teach someone who already knows everything, and is ALWAYS right? ~Jami
Teach us something about what you’ve found brings YOU joy in life, and in your relationships!
We take pride in
Our game nights and brunches!

Registry
Your presence is enough of a present to us! But for those of you who would like, we've put together a list of things that would greatly help us as we start this journey together!
WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!!
We closed on a house, and it needs some work. Would appreciate any contributions! Here is the link if you want to contribute to this project.
GROUP GIFTING AVAILABLE
First thing we’d like point out is that any gift over $100 is available for group gifting! All you have to do is select the gift you want to contribute to, and click "click to buy" which will bring you to the registry page, then select "CONTRIBUTE" and put in whatever! We realize some of these items get a tad pricey, so any amount contributed to the overall cost is greatly appreciated!
We would like to say thank you for your time and consideration! We look forward to celebrating with you all soon!
Blessings,
Jami and Tyler
Travel/Hotel (Book Early!)
Getting In
We recommend flying into Sanford International Airport (for a smaller airport) or MCO (Orlando International Airport). There is also Daytona International Airport close by as well.
Getting Downtown Flager
There a lots of ways to get downtown NSB! There are several car rental options, and Lyft and Uber are relatively inexpensive.
Flager Ave is walking distance from the following hotels we have listed on the website: The Hampton Inn, The SpringHill Suites Marriott, and the Oceania Beach Club. The Country Inn and Suites is close to the Venue a short 15 minute drive from Flager Ave in NSB.
To get from MCO to NSB, I would recommend a rental car that takes from you from the 528 (the B Line) to I-95 for an 1 hour 15 min drive. From Daytona airport or NSB, it is a short 30 minute drive from either airport to NSB.
Summer is the high season in New Symrna Beach, FL. Please make your arrangements as soon as possible for the best rates and availability.
Be sure to bring your bathing suit as we will be celebrating the day after the wedding on the beach in front of the Oceania Beach Club!
