Story

Sabrina and Wesley first locked eyes in Mrs. Smith’s homeroom in 8th grade. Sabrina found Wes' phone number in the middle school directory, and that single moment lead to 11 years of long distance phone calls, sentimental love letters, T9 pay per texts, travels around the world, learning new skills, celebrating each other’s successes and lifting each other in times of need. Life has thrown obstacles but no matter what, our friendship, partnership and love remain steadfast.

On November 24th 2017, Wesley proposed to Sabrina in her hometown surrounded by close family and friends.

We share our love to dream as big as our imagination allows, to explore new lands and cultures. This has lead us to our new lifestyle. We sold everything, abandoning our old, typical life in an apartment and moved full-time into a mobile and nomadic lifestyle, to which we call each other home :) Our journey continues together as we share our vows in the beautiful mountains of Asheville, North Carolina.

Tidbits

What's your favorite activity together?

First and foremost, traveling far and wide. Exploring new sights, cultures and food! Occasionally, we have our fair share of Netflix binges of Black Mirror or reruns of the Office.

Where are you going for your honeymoon?

Where aren't we going for our honeymoon!? After the wedding, we start a road-trip that will take us 10,000+ miles, across the US, up into Alaska and back down the west coast in time for the Albuquerque balloon festival in October.

What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?

Just after graduating college we went on a month long backpacking through Europe! Our favorite spot on the entire trip was in Cinque Terre, Italy! It has everything, beautiful beaches, mountain hikes, and mind blowing food... We will be back...

Note

Welcome to Asheville

Asheville is one of the most scenic cities in all of North Carolina and lies in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. Its a common destination wedding location and home to so many activities such as hiking, shopping, camping, off roading, and sight seeing. The Blue Ridge Parkway runs right through Asheville and Pisgah National Forest sits on either side of the city. Asheville does not have a well established airport, so the closest place to fly into is Charlotte, NC you'll then need to rent a car and make the two hour trip into Asheville! There are connecting flights from Charlotte to Asheville if desired as well. Below we've listed accommodations, travel tips, and other info you might find helpful in getting into and around Asheville!

Registry

What we want most for our wedding is to have all of our friends and family there in Asheville to celebrate the occasion with us. We LOVE to travel and about a year ago, we decided to live, work and travel full-time our of our Jeep! Because of this, we do not have a house or apartment so our gift registry is non-traditional and focuses on our lifestyle!
