Story
What a journey this has been so far! We're only at the beginning of our story with so much more to come! We met in 2015 and quickly fell in love, despite both of us trying to NOT get into a serious relationship. It turns out that when it is meant to be... it just happens.
Our first evening together was spent sipping wine in a quiet bar talking for hours without noticing the time or that last orders had been called and the bar was indeed closed. From that day there hasn't been a day since that we haven't spoken. It wasn't long before we were living together and going through the drama of introducing our dogs to one another, who unlike us were not so keen on the new arrangement!
Ever since then we have enjoyed building our lives together. Its been exciting and entertaining every step of the way. In 2019 we received our biggest gift ever with the addition of Jasmine and Benjamin to our family, that we have affectionately labelled Team Westbury. We think it's time to become four bonafide Westbury's.
In 2021 we bought our dream home together as a family and topped it off with with our fur ball puppy, Jacob. In the comfort of our new gaff we polished off planning our perfect day to celebrate our story so far and all the magic to come with the most important people in our lives... if you're reading this, you're one of those people. We can't wait for you to join us!
Schedule
Registry
Your presence is enough of a present to us! But for those of you who would like to buy us a gift we have put together a list of suggestions. We have all we need for our home and as we are not going on a honeymoon we have decided to spend the next 12 months doing as many memorable activities as we can. So we are asking for experience gifts from you to help us make the best memories of our first year married.

Q & A
For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by 14th February so we have a little bit of time to confirm catering numbers and adjust seating plans etc.
Can I bring a date?
Hopefully we've made that clear on your invite. Please check your invite for a plus one.
Are kids welcome?
Yes! This should be clear on your invite. Please RSVP on behalf of children and partners too so that we can account for them. A babysitting service will be avail... NOPE. Sorry. Not really. However, our children will be going fully feral on the farm so we'll be in the same boat. Please reach out if you have questions!
What will the weather be like?
May is typically the driest month of the year but you're on the North West coast now so prepare for gales and downpours unexpectedly. While many guests will be wearing beer jackets consider actual jackets for little ones. Naturally it will be chilly at night so, bugger it, bring a jacket for yourself too or some funky fur and warm layers.
Where should I park?
There is plenty of parking on the farm. Last to arrive gets the muddiest space.
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Well, lets say "yes". The Barn and bar are wheelchair accessible but for "reasons" we've decided to do much of this get-together in a field. All sensible care hands and well directed groomsmen will be on hand to ensure nobody feels awkward or stuck because of the uneven ground in places.
What should I wear?
See our Schedule for the dress code, but the headlines are 1. dress for a wedding. 2. but consider wellies or trainers (honestly). 3. The North West can be cold, damp, dark, damp, windy, damp and (on occasion) damp.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony is indoors, but our reception will be in an arch tent on the adjacent field. Much of the entertainment will be outside of the tent on the field.
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Okay, we feel we've covered this but lets just make this clear. Do not wear stiletto heels, okay? UNLESS you're bringing a shoe swap for when we take things outside onto the field. Info: fields are made of grass/dirt and can be a bit squishy so consider nothing less than a chunky heel or sandal. Pros should go with whatever they fancy followed by a sequinned welly / walking boot.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos on the day and share them with us. However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Flashes can be quite distracting as can wedding guests running around the aisle trying to get the best angle. IMPORTANT: Please do not post any pictures online featuring children attending our wedding (unless they are your own). It would be easy to just apply this rule to pictures of Jasmine and Benjamin but lets all try and be understanding that this rule is best applied generally. Sincerely, thank you for following this rule.
I have a question not answered here; how do I contact you?
Really. Hmm. Okay, I suppose we couldn't anticipate every question. Send an email to weddingwestbury@gmail.com or if you have our phone numbers contact one of us via text/whatsapp etc. We will usually get back to you within a day unless it's a really tricky question.
