When guests are ready to shop for you, your registry is where they'll go first. Joy lets you pull in gifts from any retailer, add items manually from anywhere on the web, and keep your list organized as your plans change. Here's how to build and manage yours.
Adding items to your registry
There are two ways to add individual items: using the Joy Quick Add browser button or adding them manually from the Manage Registry tab.
Using the Joy Quick Add button
The Quick Add button sits in your browser bar and lets you add items from any retailer's website without leaving the page.
Before you start, add the Quick Add button to your browser bar. Here's how to set that up.
Find the item you want on the retailer's website.
Click Add to Joy in your bookmarks bar.
Click Add Gift.
Click Go to Registry to confirm the item has been added to your list.
Adding an item manually
From your Event Dashboard, click Registry, then select the Manage Registry tab.
Click the + button next to the Filter By dropdown in the Manage Gifts section.
Select Add Gift from Anywhere.
Paste the product URL into the Product URL field. Joy will attempt to fill in the Title, MSRP Price ($), and Quantity automatically.
Review the filled fields and update anything that didn't populate automatically.
Select your preferred purchase option:
Direct friends and family to the store's website: Joy shares your address so guests can buy and ship the gift themselves. Learn more.
Get cash for my gift (for U.S. registries): Receive the cash value of the gift instead of the physical item. Learn more.
Check Our Most Wanted to highlight this item on your registry.
Type a note in the Note to Family and Friends field if you'd like to add context about the gift.
Click Add Gift.
Tip: Items marked as Our Most Wanted are called out on your registry page, giving guests a clear signal about where to start.
Reordering your items
From your Event Dashboard, click Registry, then select the Manage Registry tab.
Hover over the item you want to move.
Click and hold the drag handle icon that appears in the top left corner of the item card.
Drag the item to its new position and release.
Editing or removing an item
From your Event Dashboard, click Registry, then select the Manage Registry tab.
To edit an item:
Click the item you want to update.
Make your changes to the details.
Click Save.
To remove an item:
Hover over the item you want to remove.
Click the trash icon in the top right corner of the item card.
To hide a purchased or reserved item:
Purchased and reserved items can't be deleted from your registry, but you can remove them from guest view.
Click the purchased or reserved item.
Click Hide Gift.
