Joy's Premium Suites are where your invitations are not just crafted; they're curated to echo your personal style. Each suite offers extensive customization, allowing you to choose colors, stylish fonts, and tweak design elements to truly make it your own. The heart of our Premium Suites experience lies in the hands-on guidance from our dedicated design concierge team. You will collaborate closely with your very own designer to ensure every detail of your invitation captures your unique vision.

How it works

  • Browse the collection: Start by exploring the suite designs here. Find the design that sets the tone for your event.

  • Place your order: Click Order Now, choose your quantity, and complete checkout.

  • Share your details: After checkout, you'll receive a confirmation email with a link to submit your event details and any initial customization requests.

  • Collaborate with your designer: Your dedicated designer will build a first draft based on your feedback. You'll review it together and refine until every detail is exactly right.

  • Approve and print: Once you're happy with the design, give your approval and your suite goes to print.

Timeline

  • Design — Estimated 4 to 8 business days
    This is the collaboration phase. Your designer works through your feedback and refines the design until it's right. Complex designs or multiple rounds of changes may take longer.

  • Production — Estimated 2 to 3 business days
    Once the design is approved, your order is printed, quality-checked, and packaged.

  • Shipping — Estimated 3 to 4 business days via DHL Express
    Your suite ships directly to you once production is complete.

International shipping and tariffs

The Joy Promise: No surprise fees. We'll refund the full amount of any tariffs or import taxes charged by the shipping carrier, so you only pay for your order.

Unlike Joy's standard printed cards, which are produced in the US, Premium Invitation Suites are printed at specialized facilities in Australia. All orders include DHL Express shipping, which arrives at most US locations in 3 to 4 days.

Starting August 29, 2025, all commercial shipments entering the US are subject to import duties and standard customs processing, regardless of value.

As part of these tariffs, DHL will send an email or text requesting payment of the duty (10% as of publishing) before delivery.

Here's how it works:

  1. The Joy Design Concierge team ships your order.

  2. DHL emails or texts you a secure link with the tariff amount due.

  3. You pay DHL online.

  4. DHL completes customs clearance and delivers your suite.

  5. Email printsupport@withjoy.com with a copy of your DHL payment receipt, and we'll refund the full tariff amount.

Will this affect my delivery timeline?
Based on experience in other regions, paying the invoice during the transit and clearance window is unlikely to cause delays. If you have concerns about your timeline, contact our team at printsupport@withjoy.com.

Does this affect customers outside the US?
No. This applies only to deliveries within the United States.

Why is this happening now?
The US introduced new measures in 2025 that impose reciprocal tariffs and suspend de minimis globally from August 29, 2025.

Once I submit my initial feedback form, how long will it take to get the first draft of my card?

You should receive your proof within 2 business days.


Can I customize the colors and design elements on the invitation?

Yes. You have significant creative freedom with Premium Suites. Your designer can change the color of florals and other design elements, swap fonts from any Adobe or Google font, and source from a wide marketplace of floral and graphic assets. You can also personalize the paper and envelope colors. Most customizations are included at no extra cost — if anything requires an additional fee, your designer will discuss it with you before proceeding.


Can I add recipient addresses?

Yes. While working with your designer, you can send a spreadsheet of your guests' mailing addresses. If you collected addresses using Joy's Contact Collector, you can download them from your guest list by clicking Export All in the top toolbar.


Do you ship internationally?

No. Currently, we only ship within the US.


Do you offer expedited shipping?

Not at this time. All suites include free 3 to 4 day DHL Express shipping.


Can I request a sample before purchasing?

Yes. We can't send a personalized sample of your exact order, but we do have select suite samples available on request. Fill out this form to request one.


Are decorative elements like wax seals, ribbon, and string included?

No. Decorative elements shown in product imagery are not included unless specifically stated in the suite listing.
