Rachel and Charles met how most millennials do these days, with a swipe on the well known dating app Hinge. After a few messages, he invited her to meet for Taco Tuesday at Tin Lizzy in Midtown ATL. From the first meeting, she immediately felt at ease with him. His broad shoulders and get it done attitude allowed her to just show up & enjoy. They went on like this for over a year. Concerts, romantic dinners, brunches, & rooftop bars.
As things got serious, they decided to take their first international trip together to Aruba for Soul Beach Music Festival. They say you learn a lot about a person traveling together. They had a blast! Dancing the night away to the Legendary Charlie Wilson, participating in a dance competition, riding ATVs, and exploring.
Fast forward - they have explored 10 countries, countless road trips, raised a very spoiled French Bulldog, survived Covid quarantine, and navigated job changes. All leading to the trip of a lifetime to Spain for Rachel's 30th bday. Where on the last leg, in the beautiful Palma de Mallorca, Charles got on one knee and asked Rachel to embark on their biggest adventure yet. Marriage. :) #PridgenEverAfter
