Advancements in technology has changed everything - including dating. Our story began with the simple swipe of the finger to the right. Chatting online quickly turned into a nearly canceled date and Erica's late, disheveled arrival at Sixty-Vines in Rice Village. Marcus' clear patience turned into dates to see Journey at the Houston Rodeo, trips to Fredericksburg and New Orleans, and more dogs than he'd like to admit.
Our biggest turning point took place about three weeks after we met when Erica became very ill. Marcus graciously took her in and took care of her for a week...And then she just never left. Marcus proposed a year later in the same place where we took our first big out of town trip - Enchanted Rock outside of Fredericksburg, TX.
While our first year together has been one wild ride, we're excited for our future together and to share this all important day with our families and our closest friends.
