Story
We met through Bumble - an online dating app where the girl has to make the first move. Our first date was Halloween weekend. Mike dressed up as Michigan's head coach, Jim Harbaugh. Abby showed up in a terrible wig dressed like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson from the 90s. Our first date lasted 6 hours where we bopped from bar to bar - even going to sing karaoke. Mike told everyone Abby's name so they cheered for her while she sang Celine Dion. Mike sang his heart out to a song Abby had never heard of showing off his bravery and his tone deafness.
A few weeks later at the Knights of Columbus Christmas Party, a photo popped up in the photo montage of the summer prior's group golf outing (3 months before we met). Front and center in the picture were Abby and her cousin Caitlin; while Mike was in the background! We realized that was our first photo together - we just hadn't met yet!
Our story since then has been filled with love, laughter, adventure and faith. We can't wait for what the future has in store for us.
