The First Date
Ronald and Allison were introduced through a mutual friend/family member. Allison's cousin asked Ronald "Do you want to talk to my cousin?". After a couple of picture exchanges, he said “Sure, I wouldn't mind talking to her!” A few days of texting turned into phone calls and that's when they started to plan their first date.
As they were getting to know each other, they realized how much they had in common. One of those common interests was drinking Hennessy. Both would say that is the official drink of the relationship, haha! Allison suggested that they do a ceramic paint night at Petroglyph. She also planned on bringing their favorite drink to sip on. Let’s just say they were both feeling good before the date started. After about an hour of painting, Allison starts to get restless and says, “I’m kind of over this.” They wrap things up and make plans for dinner and some dancing. Still feeling a little buzzed, both decide to eat at Nick the Greek as their first meal together. They order separate food and that is when Ronald realized Allison's big appetite. This was the moment he knew he liked her.
After dinner, Allison wanted to burn off all the food. The original plan was to go dancing at a lounge called SP2, but they did not make it. They stumbled into another place where they heard good music playing from the outside. This was the first time they danced together. To Ronald, it felt like they were the only ones there. It was getting late, but they were not ready to end the night. It was uncommon for the both of them, but Ronald asked if she wanted to watch a new show he was currently watching. She agreed and they watched “The Night Of” as their first show together. Allison ended up binge watching it the following day so they could talk about it.
Both still talk about that night till this day.
