Story
In December of 2012, Austin had recently relocated to Texas from Florida. While preparing to open a new hotel, Austin did not realize that he would soon meet the love of his life. Alyssa and Austin worked together over the next year and grew closer each and every day. Life inevitably lead the couple down separate paths, Alyssa to San Antonio and Austin to Austin ;). Over the coming years, Alyssa and Austin continued to grow personally and professionally, but something was missing.
After years without contact, the pair reconnected over social media. In August of 2017, Austin was in California, again opening a hotel, when Alyssa came back into his life. Out of the blue, Alyssa reached out to Austin after seeing a video that he had taken of a herd of seals on the beach. The two immediately hit it off like they had never missed a beat. The next month, Austin was in Chicago with friends. He told his friend that he had recently rekindled his relationship with Alyssa and from the moment they reconnected, he knew that she was the one. While in the Caribbean on vacation on October 15, 2018, Alyssa made Austin the happiest man alive when she said yes to his marriage proposal, with the blessing of her parents.
