Can I bring a date?
With our wedding being quite a trek from home, we encourage all of our guests to make a vacation out of the trip. Bring your family and friends! Enjoy the theme parks ; )
Are kids welcome?
Yes! Being parents of three girls, the more the better!
Do I need to purchase park tickets?
Yes, because our wedding ceremony will take place inside Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Join the magic before or after the ceremony and add as many days as you wish at Universal Studios Orlando, and/or Walt Disney World. Stay for one enchanted morning or make it a full week-long adventure!

I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?
Those who wish to stay at the same resorts as the bride & groom, we have reservations at Universal’s Hard Rock Hotel from November 9–11, 2026, and Disney's Yacht Club Resort from November 11–15, 2026.

What will the weather be like?
November in Orlando is usually beautifully mild! Expect warm afternoons and cooler mornings and evenings. Most days fall in the mid-70s to low-80s (°F), with nights dipping into the mid-50s to mid-60s.
It is not nearly as humid or rainy as the summer! November is part of Orlando’s drier and more comfortable season. Light showers can happen, but heavy rain is uncommon.
Short sleeves for daytime adventures and a light jacket or sweater for evenings, we do not want anyone freezing their bu...well you get the point. ;)
Where should I park?
If driving in Orlando:
•The Universal Studios Orlando parking garage charges around $32 per day or $60 for prime parking.
•Hotels usually charge for parking, so it will depend which hotel you stay at.
•Universal Orlando Hard Rock Hotel charges $36 per night or $45 for valet for overnight guests. OR, $53 for self-parking and $56 for valet for day guests.
•Disney's Yacht Club Resort is complimentary for overnight guests using standard self-parking, with valet parking available for a nightly fee. Day guests can also receive complimentary standard self-parking for a limited time when they have dining, shopping, or entertainment reservations at the resort.
•We will provide 10 complimentary parking passes at Walt Disney World Swan Hotel.
•The Port Canaveral on-site parking charges around $20 per day plus tax.
•Renting a car or want private transfers? Let us know so we can book your car rental or transfers : )
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes, let us know if anyone needs assistance around the property! We can book a wheelchair or scooter.

What should I wear?
Please see our Schedule. Dress code depends on which events you will attend.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony and reception is outdoors, both at Universal and on the cruise.
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Calling all ladies! DO NOT wear stiletto heels. We repeat, do not wear stiletto heels. There is a lot of walking so wear chunky heels or sandals. We cannot have any of you ruining nice shoes or breaking any ankles.
Is there a gifts registry?
Yes, we do have a registry set up on our website! However, your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift you could give.
Please note: do not bring any wrapped gifts to the wedding itself, as all of our guests will need to go through security and any packages are subject to search for safety purposes.
Lastly, please keep in mind that we are also flying to Orlando and have limited luggage space to carry any extra items back home.

How will food and drinks be served?
After the ceremony, we kindly ask that you enjoy a bite to eat afterward to keep the magic going as the reception will only offer champagne, cider, and cake.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them on our app Joy and with us. Please be considerate of other guests and refrain from taking photos during the ceremony as we have opted to have a photographer and videographer present. The ceremony and reception will also be live-streamed.

Are there any extra events the bride & groom are doing that we can join?
The bride & groom will be attending the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Once tickets are released for 2026, we will purchase our tickets and update the website with the date.
