We met on an online dating app, Plenty of Fish. We had instant chemistry but the timing was not right to start anything serious. We spent an obscene amount of time together forming a wonderful friendship all while harboring feelings for one another.
Dating Ann always felt so easy. Looking back I was very walled off emotionally which made me hard to be with. I realized I loved Ann when she broke up with me because I couldn't tell her how I really felt. Fate luckily gave us another chance but it still took me five months to finally find the words to tell her how much I love her.
I knew for the first time that I loved Mike when we went bowling just as friends on Fathers Day in 2018. I broke my knee trying to out bowl him and he carried me back to his place to render first aid. I vividly remember him getting up to get me a glass of water and an ice pack and me thinking "I am going to marry you one day". And here we are!
