Story
We met July 2017, in Sarasota, Florida, at Biker Bar called Gator Club…so let me explain… a few days before we started medical school, some classmates organized a welcome mixer so we could all get to know each other and hang out before classes started - they had themselves a good laugh by sending us to a biker bar! Let's just say the guys on motorcycles looked a little confused as all of us science nerds started walking in! I arrived with my med school bestie, Alex (who also happens to be one of my bridesmaids). We spotted a few other classmates and headed toward that group-well one of them happened to be Anthony. We exchanged introductions over Moscow Mules and got to chatting- next thing we knew it was 3am and the bar was closing…
Fast forward 6 years: on June 24, 2023 Anthony proposed while we were touring the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Anthony had both of our families fly in to join in on the engagement festivities afterwards. We are both currently completing our final years of residency training - Anthony in Orthopedic Surgery and myself, Ariana, in Obstetrics & Gynecology. We cannot wait to officially tie the knot surrounded by all the people that we love and care about most in April 2025!
