Story
Aryn and Sean met at a public health happy hour at Free House in Berkeley in late 2016. Sean is not in public health, but he was invited to crash the party by his office mate. Aryn and Sean were sitting across the table from each other at the happy hour and talked about research and skiing. Sean was going on a ski trip that weekend with a college friend, so he invited Aryn and asked for her number. She was impressed with the bold move but was going out of town for the holidays the next day (and also a little wary of stranger danger). She gave him her number and they texted for the next month before going on their first date in Oakland. They've since gone on lots of ski trips.
