The Edgewater has a valet only lot. If you are looking for for cheaper parking, there are several other parking garages in the area, the closest one being across the street from from the hotel at 9 Wall St, Seattle, WA 98121

The closest airport to Seattle is SEA, which is a major airport serviced by most domestic airlines. Trip time via car to downtown is about 30 minutes depending on traffic and final location.

A rental car is not required to maneuver around the city, but may come in handy if you are here for a longer trip, or seeking destinations outside the city core.

If you are looking to skip the rental car, Seattle is fairly walkable, and has both buses and light rail (kingcounty.gov/depts/transportation/metro.aspx and soundtransit.org). Uber and Lyft are also easy to use.
