Story
Kevin and I met in Rochester, NY in early 2011, shortly after I moved there for work. He was finishing up undergrad at the University of Rochester, and I was dating a friend of his. We weren't really very close, but he had a dog so obviously I liked him. A few months later, he finished school and left Rochester for the west coast.
A couple of breakups and a cross country move later, Kevin was back in Rochester for a new job and I was one of maybe two or three people left in town that he knew. So we started spending time together as friends and eventually, we became best friends and started dating. After 6 years together, Kevin proposed, and now we're so excited to officially become best friends forever!
