Clonakilty
Our wedding venue is on the coast in a small hotel about 10 minutes outside of the town of Clonakilty. We recommend most guests stay in Clonakilty which is well known for music, culture, and proximity to beaches, but there are also several great airbnbs & guest houses in the local area. If you're staying outside of Clon, cars are recommended to get around.

Flying to Ireland
You can fly into any major airport in Ireland:
1. Cork (45 mins to Clonakilty) - closest to the venue and is much calmer to get in and out of
2. Dublin (3.5 hours to Clonakilty) - direct flights available from Seattle
3. Shannon (2.5 hrs to Clonakilty)
Getting to West Cork
There are several ways to get to West Cork. Rental cars are available at the major airports. Buses and trains are very convenient between Dublin Airport and Cork City (1 hour from Clonakilty). While local buses run from Cork City to Clonakilty & taxis are also available in the local area, cars will be the most convenient way to navigate West Cork for most. Irish roads are narrow and October (like every other month) can bring rain - if you're renting, make sure you consider your comfort before choosing a car size.
Wedding Day Shuttle
A shuttle will be available to and from the wedding with pick ups in Enniskeane (pickup at 12.45 in the church car park) & Clonakilty (pickup at 1.15 at Aldi). Please include which shuttle and timing you need in your RSVP.

When is the RSVP deadline?
Please formally RSVP by the 30th of August. If you know in advance you won't be able to join, please let us know.
Can I bring a date?
Your invitation outlines the individual(s) invited to the wedding. With space limitations, no addition guests can be accomodated.
Are kids welcome?
As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception.
What will the weather be like?
Welcome to Ireland where we can have every season in a day. If it's dry, we'll have the ceremony outside and there will be a short walk outside between drinks reception. It's no harm to bring a coat and or rain protection.
Where should I park?
There is plenty of parking at Dunmore.
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes, and we will have a golf cart available for anyone needing assistance getting around the property!
What should I wear?
Our wedding dress code is cocktail attire. We don't have wedding colours (we'll be wearing white and green) so please feel free to wear what makes you feel beautiful.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
If it's dry, our wedding ceremony will be outdoors, otherwise all the other events are indoors.
Are the wedding ceremony and reception at the same location?
Yes, both will take place at Dunmore House Hotel.
What if I have a dietary restriction?
Please submit your dietary restrictions with your RSVP.
I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?
Rooms on site are full. If you are traveling from out of town, we recommend staying in or near Clonakilty. The Emmet hotel, the Quality Suites, and many local airbnbs are highly rated.
Registry
Our preference is no gifts - you've all given us more than enough & your presence at our wedding celebration is the already the best gift!
