Story
The first time I saw him, I was walking into work and listening to a conference. As I got close to our executive parking lot this guy is walking towards me and he stops. He says, 'You're Dr._____', then pauses. Already been a little ticked that some random guy is stopping me on the street AND stopping me while I had earphones in, I said as shortly as possible, 'Walters?'
He then proceeded to tell me he was the new Director of Security and he saw my video at work concerning COVID-19. He thanked me for the video and said it helped him decide on getting vaccinated. I said cool and kept it going.
2 seconds later, because I am slow, I thought, wait he is cute from what I could see (you know COVID-19 and masks and all). Then it hit me, was he trying to hit on me? I went into work and asked a co-worker, who assured me I missed the signs of him trying to get to know me!
Needless to say, I tried for 2 weeks to find a crafty way to prove my suspicions. After consultation with a few friends and a few methods...we finally connected via text and basically as they say, the rest is history.
