Daniel & Chelsie

We are incredibly grateful for your love and support as we begin this new chapter. In lieu of traditional gifts, we've created a wedding fund that will not only contribute to our dream honeymoon but also help us with the exciting prospect of living abroad for a year. Your generous contributions will be cherished memories and a significant part of our journey together.

Chelsie and Daniel first met in 2016 through a mutual friend at Blue in Peoria. They both found themselves at this artsy bar regularly on Thursdays - Chelsie celebrating her various awards in the final semester of her senior year at Bradley University and Daniel looking to make more friends in the neighborhood. The bar closed a mere month later, but these Thursday hangouts transitioned to the solo-shift bartender's home nearby and continued for months with the "Thursday crew." Daniel and Chelsie became best friends and Daniel even convinced Chelsie to stay in Peoria to start her business.

A year into their close friendship, Chelsie and Daniel went on their first date. They spent the next two years in Peoria where they prioritized community involvement, building their respective businesses, and traveling domestically and internationally to Spain and England.

In June 2019, Chelsie and Daniel moved to Chicago to continue pursuing their passions in art and entrepreneurship. Since moving, they've enjoyed making friends, getting involved in the Avondale and Logan Square communities, frequenting local restaurants multiple times a week, living car-free, and continuing to travel with easy access to O'Hare airport.

Daniel proposed to Chelsie in Granada, Spain in September 2022 under the Alhambra. They've been celebrating their love ever since and look forward to continuing the celebration through a unique wedding tour starting in May 2024.
