Story
Our journey is a success story of long distance relationship: ~10,000 miles, Jakarta - Ithaca, New York! This is a long story, we could trace Giri/Ghaitsa's connection back from 2012, when Giri was still in Tokyo. Ghaitsa's aunty was one of Giri's mom's friends. However, we eventually started getting in touch in late 2015, through social media called Path (the app died few years later). Giri was a huge fan of Ghaitsa's music. He didn't miss any of Ghaitsa's performances in Rising Star TV Show. He asked for friend's request on Path, which somehow Ghaitsa accepted. We started having conversation since then. Through video calls, chats, flights, we maintained our long distance relationship. After 3 years of long distance, Giri went back home and proposed Ghaitsa to get married.
