The closest airport is McAllen (MFE), while Harlingen (HRL) is only 50 minutes away and has Southwest Airlines flights.

There's only one way to get to our venue, and that is by traveling west on US Hwy 83. Capilla del Río is about a 45 minute drive from McAllen. It is about $45 to $60 one way from McAllen with Lyft or Uber (Lyft is more economical here), so a car rental may be a better choice.

We recommend choosing a hotel in McAllen (45 min. from venue). McAllen is a more convenient (and safer) location with a large number of hotels to choose from.

We will be staying here on our wedding night, and have booked it for the night before as well (Friday & Saturday, Dec. 2 & 3, 2022). We do not have a room block, but you can request a room near ours (reservations under: Jonathan Dusek).

If your stay is extended beyond the day of the ceremony and you plan on visiting Mexico, here are a few pointers:
*Visit Nuevo Progresso (south of Weslaco).
*Park at border & walk across
*Bring a passport. They will accept a driver's license and birth certificate, but with a passport, your return will be expedited.
*Both card and book forms of passports are accepted (on foot)
*Depending on everyone's plans, we may consider visiting Mexico as well.
