For all our guests, check-in will be available from 3.30pm on the Friday afternoon - whether you're staying at Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat, Banksia Park Cottages, Wahroonga Cottage, or elsewhere.
We cannot wait for all our guests to come and enjoy the accommodation and venue, and the beauty of Kangaroo Valley!

As we are lucky enough to have our venue for 48 hours from Friday to Sunday, we are hosting a woodfire pizza dinner & drinks on Friday evening. We will host fun games & activities (mainly to make a few jokes at the bride & groom) as a bit of fun on Friday!
We understand some people will be travelling to the venue after work so we are happy to see people when they can join!

Next to its games area, KVBR has a fantastic swimming pool equipped with parasols, sunloungers & a range of other seating - for guests to enjoy regardless of where they're staying.
There are also activities that guests can book in town (at their expense), including kayaking (to spot the duck-billed platypus!), mountain biking, guided hikes (or free hike trails), golf, & more. We have some recommended vendors to offer these activities, so let us know if you wish to book any of these!

You will be led and seated at the beautiful rock cathedral which is on-site at the Bush Retreat venue.

We will commence with a Welcome to Country Ceremony. Following this, the wedding will begin.

After the wedding ceremony, you will be whisked away up a natural winding staircase where there will be cocktails and sodas to greet you along with nibbles and canapes! Allow yourself to take in the beauty of the sunset deck with a gorgeous river view! The eagle-eyed among you may well be able to spot a duck-billed platypus whose habitat is in the river below!
The couple and bridal party will join the guests after taking some professional photos
to enjoy some drinks with everyone on the deck!

Our reception dinner will start from approximately 6pm, where guests will be served a banquet feast, before speeches, dancing, music & cake!

Enjoy a chilled wind-down afterparty vibe; a relaxed time to chat beside a traditional South African firepit inside a Boma built to protect you from - drop bears and lions.

For the morning after, the father of the bride will be hosting a cooked hot breakfast for all guests.

All guests will need to check-out of the accommodation at approxomately 12pm on the Sunday to ensure that we can do a final sweep of the property before leaving at 2pm.
