Story
So we were both active users on what I'd like to describe as the most awesome social media space ever TWITTER!!!!!!!! And we were also mutuals but we rarely talked to each other till one day I saw her at the mall and recognized her as one of my followers looooool.
The first time I saw her, at the mall. She had no idea of what I looked like prior to that and guess what?! I walked past her!!! Then later that evening I dm'ed her on twitter as we were already following each other and I asked her if she was the one I saw at the mall earlier that day she said she was the one, I complimented her on how she looked at the mall and we didn't talk again, fast forward to some months later.......
So it happened that one day I had missed out on a heavy trend all thanks to my work schedule and the crazy Lagos lifestyle!!
So I innocently asked to be kept up to date on the gist I had missed out on during the day around almost midnight this particular day and to be honest I was just hoping for someone to retweet the gist to me. so I went into her Dms for the gist loool and from there I took notice of her and went through her profile.
See she was a spec but then twitter streets were not considered to be safe for shooting shots plus at that time she was in Ibadan serving so basically I was not even having any ideas. Fast forward to different nights we would chat casually during the midnight because I was more of a late night person and she was always up too doing some coding project.
We chatted on and off and I stopped staying in touch. Note that at this point I got notified that there was already a man involved and as a gentleman I got the message and kept the communication cordial.
As you would have it one night I had an incident with SARS and called for help on twitter and she messaged me to find out if I was safe from there we started talking proper requested for her number and took it off from there.
I noticed the number she called me with was not on WhatsApp so I asked for her WhatsApp number.
We got talking at that point I had just relocated from Lagos and I casually asked about her man. To my surprise she had just ended things with him. (Na so me I chook head, come dey apply pressure into the talking stage)
We kept in touch and would always chat for long hours cause I was new in a new city and I was always by myself. I had to let her know exactly how I felt about her, after praying about it and we both looked at things critically even though it was so obvious that we were both developing feelings for each other.
We both knew what we wanted and decided to do the right thing. It has been quite a journey but all I can say is God led us to each other and it has been Abundant Bliss all through!!!.
Both families met over Christmas and we made it official.
