Getting In
We recommend flying into Portland (PWM) as it is the closest and least hassle, but you may find more affordable flights into Boston (BOS), about a 3-hour commute to the venue, or Bangor, ME (BGR) about a 2-hour commute to the venue.
Getting Around Maine
From any airport, you will need to rent a car. There is limited public transportation in Maine-- outside Portland, there are no Ubers, cabs, etc. We'd be happy to help you coordinate carpooling with others. We recommend renting from the airport.
Camping
All are welcome to camp for free at the wedding venue from Thursday, August 8, 2 pm through Sunday, August 11, 12 pm. Camping is primitive. There is an outhouse and running water, but no showers.
We're thrilled that we can offer camping at the venue; due to limited transportation (no cabs, Ubers, etc), we encourage you to spend the night after the reception. If you don't have camping gear, please reach out and we can make it happen!
Camper vans, RVs, and converted vehicles are also welcome and can be parked for free at the venue.
Accomodation: Wilson Lake Inn
Enjoy a cozy stay at the Wilson Lake Inn where you can enjoy some time on the lake in one of their canoes or kayaks for borrow. The Wilson Lake Inn is about 25 minutes from the wedding venue and 20 minutes to Farmington, one of Maine's quaint "cities" where you can get a good bite to eat. Reserve your stay over the phone and let them know that you are booking with the Corwin/Pereira wedding party for a discount. Rooms must be reserved by June 1 for guaranteed availability and discount.
Accomodation: Comfort Inn & Suites
Stay at the Comfort Inn & Suits in Wilton, ME, conveniently located about 25 minutes from the venue and at an affordable rate. Call to reserve and let them know that you are part of the Corwin/Pereira wedding party for a generous discount. Rooms must be reserved by July 24th for the discount and guaranteed availability.
Accomodation: Airbnb
Looking for an alternative accommodation? There are several Airbnbs in surrounding towns. We recommend checking out Livermore Falls, Farmington, and Norway.
