Story
Our love story began through our church young adult fellowship. What started as a casual meeting quickly turned into a meaningful connection. We exchanged numbers, and as we began to converse, it felt as though we had known each other forever, even though we had only just met.
We soon discovered that we both are Tuesday born (Kwabena & Abena) which felt like a special sign, and we both shared a competitive streak when it came to playing Ludo. As we spent more time together, we realized how much we had in common that is from similar tastes in food and activities to a mutual love of trying new things.
I knew she was the one when she selflessly accompanied me on a road trip from Virginia to California for my cousin’s wedding. She didn’t want me to miss such an important moment, and her thoughtfulness touched me deeply.
Our favorite things to do together include playing Ludo, traveling, and exploring different cuisines. When I first asked her out, she told me she would pray about it and get back to me; a testament to her faith and thoughtfulness.
From the moment we met, it’s been a journey of love, friendship, and discovering the beauty of life together.
