Our Story
Eric was born on March 31, 1982. Christina was born on November 25, 1987.
Eric grew up in San Francisco. Christina grew up in La CaƱada Flintridge (Los Angeles).
Eric's favorite book was the Guinness Book of World Records (1989 Edition) of course. Christina liked to read the dictionary (she did not make it past Aardvark).
Christina "won" 4th place in her 7th grade spelling bee while Eric was eliminated in the first round of his 4th grade spelling bee for incorrectly spelling "biased". Eric later made up for this embarrassment by winning his 7th grade science fair, albeit with doctored results. Christina also doctored the data for her 11th grade science fair project. She did not win anything.
Eric attended his first concert in 1996. It was Fiona Apple. (If you are asking if Christina judged, she did). Christina's first concert was Something Corporate in 2001.
Eric went to UC Berkeley, UC Hastings Law, and studied abroad in Hong Kong. Christina attended UC Davis and lived in Paris.
Eric met Christina in September 2012 and proposed to Christina on December 10, 2015. What happened between now and then? A lot of impromptu interpretive dancing in the kitchen, punny knee-slapping jokes, late night trips to get ice cream, illegal driving in international countries and evading Indonesian police and cartels, debates about the Oxford comma, and really bad singing in cars, houses, and public spaces.
In the first moments of meeting each other, they both felt like they had known each other for years. In fact, they both said: "I feel like I have known you for years." There was an instant comfortability, humor, and adoration that only comes around once in a lifetime. Eric and Christina are so excited to share their special day with you.
