A single link you can share before, during, or after your event where guests can upload their shots and you can collect everything in one place. No one needs a Joy account to contribute.
Click Photo Moments from your Event Dashboard.
Set Up an Album for Sharing
Before you can share an album with guests, it needs to be set to Public with Guest Uploads enabled. If you haven't created an album yet, see Photo Albums to get started.
Inside the album:
Set Album Visibility to Public.
Set Guest Uploads to Allowed.
Get the Share Link
Click Edit Album in the top right of the album editor.
Toggle Allow Uploads on.
Copy the Link, or click Share Link to copy it and send it however you like: text, email, etc.
Note: Anyone with the share link will be able to see photos in the album, not just upload them.
Ways to Share With Guests
Here are a few ways to get the link into your guests' hands:
Share the QR code at the event, like on table signs or printed on coasters. Guests scan it and go straight to the upload page; no login required.
Email the album link after the event so guests can upload their favorite shots.
Add the link or QR code to your thank-you cards to keep the photo sharing going after the celebration.
What Guests See
When guests visit the album link with Guest Uploads enabled, they'll see the photos in the album and an Upload Photo button.
When Guest Uploads is disabled, guests can still view and download the photos, but they won't see the upload option.
Storage
Every Joy event includes up to 1,000 photos free of charge which is more than enough for most events. Guests can upload and download photos without creating an account. If you have special requirements, reach out to us at support@withjoy.com to learn about higher storage tiers.
