Dave and Jeanette met in the summer of 2021 and instantly started exploring together. Within the first few months of their relationship, they hiked and camped throughout Colorado's Rocky Mountains.

If you ask Dave when he first realized Jeanette would be his future wife, his response is when she took him to Moab, Utah, to Arches National Park for his birthday. They were lucky enough to get a permit to privately hike through the remote Fiery Furnace and had to work together to find their way out of the rocky red maze. It was October 2021, only two months into their relationship.

Jeanette and Dave continued their adventures, going to Germany and Portugal together with great friends in 2022. In this romantic landscape, Dave asked Jeanette to move in together.

On August 1st, 2023, Dave prepared an amazing gourmet charcuterie board and took Jeanette on a sunset picnic at Longmont's McIntosh Lake. Dave proposed under the picturesque silhouette of Longs Peak, and Jeanette excitedly said YES!

On Valentines day of 2024, Dave and Jeanette purchased their first home together in Morrison, Colorado. Morrison is best known for being home to Red Rocks Amphitheater, a favorite venue among most rock and roll hall of fame artists. Dave and Jeanette love having hiking trails and mountain views in their backyard! Built in 1979, the home has plenty of projects on the to-do list that will keep the two busy for years to come.
