He was a boy, she was a girl. Can I make it anymore obvious? He was a punk, she did ballet. What more can I say?
Jason and Joy met back in 2009 outside of Mathew's Bar & Grill on Morris Avenue. Jason had just played a show with his band that was touring through Birmingham, and Joy was there to support her friends' local band. Little did they know that night would be the beginning of a forever friendship.
Fast forward a few years...Jason and Joy reconnected in 2013 and quickly realized that their friendship was something special. Their love for music and each other built a strong foundation for the adventure they decided to embark on together.
In April 2019, Jason proposed to Joy at their favorite festival in their favorite city, French Quarter Festival in New Orleans. Planning forever with your best friend is a dream come true.
July 4, 2020, Jason and Joy said yes to forever at Maison Cornay in Birmingham, Alabama. Thank you for being a part of this adventure!
