What type of venue do you have?

We are going to summer camp! We have booked Adirondack Woodcraft Camps in Old Forge. This allows us to utilize the entire 200+ acre campground for the entire weekend. There are bunk style cabins with electricity available for you and your family to stay in so you don't miss out on all the camp themed activities we will be hosting all weekend.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by June 1, 2023.

How much is the camping fee?

We would really love it if all of our guests would stay the weekend with us (10/05-10/08), we are asking for a $200 non-refundable camping fee per person for those 12 and up. Those wanting to arrive Friday and depart after the send off breakfast on Sunday (10/06-10/08) that camping fee is $150 per person. The camping fee for anyone wishing to camp only one night with us is $80 per person.

What is included in our camping fee?

Your camping fee includes all meals and overnight accommodations. Please refer to the packing list for items to bring with you!

When is payment due for our accommodations?

Payment is due June 10, 2023

Can I bring a date?

Are kids welcome?

Yes! We love you and your children and would love for them to be there. We will have activities for kids and adults alike for the entire weekend.

What will the weather be like?

October is difficult to predict. It may be super warm or it could snow, please be prepared for both and remember that we will be in the woods and to bring clothing to accommodate any kind of weather.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

We are getting married in the forest and some walking will be necessary to reach the ceremony site however, there will be a golf cart available for anyone needing assistance getting around the property!

Where should I park?

There is parking as you come into the campground.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, but our reception will be inside.

What should I wear?

We are camping and having a fun filled weekend so please bring clothes that are comfy and casual and appropriate for the wilderness. Please plan on bringing a business casual outfit for the ceremony and reception.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Be comfortable! Again, we will be in the woods so wear sneakers and boots throughout the weekend and sensible dress shoes for the ceremony and reception. We don't recommend wearing heels at all.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Please do not have your phones out during the wedding ceremony. Any other time, yes! Feel free to take as many photos as you would like, we will also be providing disposable cameras as well.

Is there WIFI at the venue?

There is no wifi or cell phone service on site. This is an unplugged weekend. If you need to have access, you are more than welcome to leave site and go into town for service and to explore the neighborhood! There is also a landline on site incase of emergencies.

Will food be served?

All meals will be provided for the entire weekend, there will be a cocktail hour and dinner the day of the wedding for anyone coming the day of. Some cocktails will be offered during the cocktail hour and reception but please plan on bringing your own for the weekend.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

We will do our absolute best to accommodate all dietary needs for the entire weekend.

Will you have babysitters on the premises?

We are working on securing a babysitter for the night of the reception. Parents and caregivers are responsible for their own children all other parts of the weekend.

Are masks required? Will they be provided?

Masks are not required. However, we will still have masks available for anyone who may want one.

What time should I arrive?

Guests staying the weekend should plan on arriving on Thursday October 5. Guests only attending the day of should plan on arriving no later than 12pm on Saturday October 7.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept the following online forms of payment: Venmo, Cashapp, Paypal, or we also can accept: Personal Checks or Money Orders Please name them out to Julie Dealing and name the memo as camping fee.

Is there electricity?

Yes, there is also running water and plenty of bathrooms

Can we bring our pets?

Although we would love for your fur babies to join us, we are unable to allow any pets to attend. If you have a service dog, please reach out to us and we can see with the campground how to accommodate that.

Will you live stream your ceremony?

No.
