Story
We met each other at Congregation Kol Ami in Kirkland, Washington. We were Facebook friends and every once in a while would chat. We both actually remember having a conversations around Chanukah time 2020 where he thought I was flirting but he had just started to date someone else so..... Nothing happened except a friendship. Anyway, the day after Thanksgiving Ben posted something on Facebook that I felt I needed to private message him about. We must have chatted most of the day. And the days that followed we would chat all day long, about so many things. I was planning on going to Florida the following Saturday for an entire month. Ben, Asked me on Wednesday night if he could come over on Thursday since he would be in the car and could just continue to my house, ( 2 more hours!) I had said no at first because I was being so careful because of Covid, but.. by the next morning I said Yes! When he came over( with beautiful flowers and a bottle of Proseco) we Embraced! He ended up staying until Saturday night when he took me to the airport for my Red Eye Flight to Florida. While I was in Florida we video chatted every single night for hours. This was a great way to get to really know each other. On December 20th we both said that we loved each other :). I flew home from Florida and Ben picked me up at the airport and quarantined with me at my home in Issaquah. We have been living together ever since. We go back and forth between Issaquah and Copalis Beach, where Ben owns a beach house.
I truly believe that Ben is my Bashert! ( was made for me) We have so many things in common including our love of Judaism and Music. Our Silliness and love of cooking. We enjoy celebrating Shabbat together and I love listening to him hum and sing thoughout the day.
