Story
I actually heard about Justin before I met him. We have a mutual friend who I used to work with, Michael. He sat down in my cubicle one day and started telling me about his best friend and how great of a guy he was. He was saying all of these great things, and wouldn't tell me his name! So when he finally mentions his name was Justin, I cracked up and said that I could never date somebody with a name almost exactly like mine... and jokingly Michael, my friend Katie, and I spent the next half hour coming up with hashtags if we were ever to actually date/ get married. I guess the joke was on me! But because of that conversation, I knew exactly who to look for when I walked into a Labor Day party that I was invited to. Side note: it took Justin at LEAST three hours to talk to me there, while I sat there making conversation with strangers :)

I heard about Justine on Michael's birthday party, that she failed to attend. He told others at the party that he thought we'd make a good couple. On the day of the Labor Day party, I knew she was going to be there so obviously played it cool. Real cool! So cool that I stayed in the pool for hours before I spoke to her. To my defense, she was talking to everyone outside the pool so I thought she knew everyone there. Turns out she was just being friendly and only knew Michael, who was in the pool with me. When we finally made it out to eat, thats when I made my move. She was talking to Michael and once they had finished, I looked deep into her eyes and said, I'm Justin by the way. From that moment on she was hooked. I had imprinted on her and the rest is history. Cool slick J strikes again!
