Story
They say the most stressful things you can do are planning a wedding, moving, renovating, or running a business. And they'd be right! So we decided to do them all - yay, go team!
One way our love keeps growing for each other is in creating and doing things with and for one another. There's this saying, "Couples who (fill in the blank) together, stay together." Okay, so maybe it's not exactly a saying, but it has become our motto each time we take something on (Dominic suggested I add, "couples who plan weddings together, stay together").
From bending and welding steel planter boxes, to fixing up vintage cars (Katharina is a certified flashlight holder and tool grabber), or restoring a rundown 1920s Spanish revival house, we have always encouraged each other's crazy ideas. Being able to keep up with one another we realized that we found a partner in one other.
And...sometimes that partner uses google maps in a foreign country only to find ourselves on the side of a mountain along a ski lift. When we travel our curiosity gets the best of us, taking us sailing along the nile, driving the countryside of Washington to get pulled over twice for over 20mph above the speed limit, or diving in the Adriatic only to return to a wall of jellyfish. That includes our endless love for adventurous foods, just ask us about our chimney honey.
Now, after five years of laughter and love, we are thinking about our next incredible idea and want our community to join in - celebrating our marriage.
