Our story began in a rather unexpected way, on a construction site in Athens, Georgia. I was working on a new project, overseeing its progress and making sure everything was on track, but of course, things didn’t go as smoothly as we had hoped. The timeline shifted, and there were a few hiccups along the way that delayed the project’s move-in date. Little did I know, one of the key players working on the site was Josh and his company, the grading team handling the site work.

At first, it was just business. We interacted in passing throughout the project's completion. But even amidst the challenges, there was something about Josh that I couldn’t shake. God had placed him in my life when I wasn’t expecting it, and that pattern began to unfold more clearly in the months that followed.

Fast forward a few months, and Josh and I found ourselves with our mutual friends—Chelsea and Dusty. It was through them and my sister that we ended up being seated next to each other (Hmm) at a birthday dinner. That night, something just clicked, and it felt like fate was nudging us closer and closer together.
