All of our family and friends will be travelling to our wedding, we want to provide you with as much information as possible to make it easy for you.

If you are flying the closest airport is Edinburgh Airport, it is about a 20 minute drive to the area surrounding Melville Castle. It is easy to get a taxi from the airport, you will find the taxi rank as you leave the airport terminal, just to your left hand side. It would be an estimated cost of around £20-30.

The airlines which fly directly to Edinburgh airport is Loganair, Aer Lingus and Flybe.

You can also get a train to Edinburgh Waverley,
If arriving into Edinburgh Waverley Station, it is possible to take a bus (around 35 minutes), disembarking at Dalkeith, Melville Gate Road, walking around 15 minutes to the castle. Alternatively, a taxi from the train station takes around 25 minutes.

Uber is available in Edinburgh, but the local taxis work very well too, and are reasonable

There a lots of ways to get to and from Edinburgh! There are several car rental options, and local taxis and Uber are relatively inexpensive. If you are feeling more adventurous, there is regular bus services to downtown Edinburgh!

The Premier Inn Dalkeith is roughly around 5 minutes drive from the Church and the Venue, it is just round the corner. Rooms are currently around £85 per night.

The Melville Inn, is directly across from the venue and very reasonably priced, this is very close to the church too. Please book directly from the innkeepers lodge for best rates.
