Story
Kevin and I met at Arizona State University. As a freshman, I walked into my first "Intro to Business" class and there was this cute guy with great energy (and a backwards hat- college Kevin staple) standing at the front of the room. I thought this guy can't be a college professor. Turns out, he was asked by the Dean of the business college to teach the incoming freshman for credit towards his junior year. We ran into each other at a football game that semester and besides receiving an "A" in his class that was pretty much it. The following year, as the school year was about to kick off he called and asked me out on a date. I was so surprised my hot teacher remembered me! After our first date (dinner and a comedy show) the rest was history, ... or so we thought. We dated for 4.5 years, and then we went our seperate ways. Kevin followed his dream to work in NYC, and I moved back to CA. Six years later, last June, Kevin reached out and shared he was going to be in California for a conference. I picked him up from the airport with a stomach full of butterflies and in minuets we were laughing together so hard our stomachs hurt. When the weekend concluded, I knew that we were meant for each other, and we would be together forever. On March 5, 2017 he proposed at the Grand Banks in NYC.
