Our Story
We met at church in Miami. He was a leader at the St. Augustine's young adult group (lovingly known as YAG) and I was a second-year physical therapy student. The first day I went to YAG he was giving a talk on St. Teresa of Avila, my patron saint! He caught my eye then, and asked me out a few months later. Our first date was filled with things we both love: Mass, Bible study, authentic Italian pizza and gelato. About a month after we started dating we served together in Haiti for a week-long mission trip and it was at that point that we both knew we had found someone special. He surprised me with a proposal one year after we started dating!
