Lia's Story:

The first time I saw him, we were both sitting in a Zoom meeting. I thought to myself, "he looks like the kind of guy I wish I could marry." Every time I heard him speak, I wanted to hear more. I privately chatted him to get his phone number and we started texting. There was chemistry through text that I had never experienced before. We finally made a time to talk on the phone. And we haven't stopped talking since.
When I met him in person for the first time, I thought to myself, "this is the guy I'm going to marry." A modern day fairytale.

Nick's Story:

The first time I saw her in person, Lia pulled up in her Jeep in Chicago right after one of her classes and I thought, "Oh my God, she's so beautiful! Try to play it cool!"

I was amazed at her beauty on Zoom, but in person I was mesmerized. Through our phone conversations, I had also discovered just how smart and funny and kind and strong she is and this was even more obvious after our first dinner conversation.

She later told me that during our walk after dinner in the Lincoln Park zoo that she got an inner feeling that "this is the guy you're going to marry."

This excited me a lot when she eventually told me that because I've wanted to marry her from the second she showed up on that Lincoln Park sidewalk!
