A workplace romance gone right....
Luke and Lacy are both born and raised New Orleans natives. Luke attended McDonogh 35 Senior High School, while Lacy attended Ursuline Academy. While the two never crossed paths as children, their adult paths could not avoid one another if they'd tried.
Luke and Lacy studied and worked in photography early in their lives. Lacy stayed with photography, while Luke moved on to other ventures. They finally crossed paths at Luke's alma mater, which was one of both of their largest contracts at the time, when Pop decided to give Lacy's phone number to Luke for "yearbook purposes".
Luke and Lacy became fast friends. They'd talk about work for a few minutes at a time and then have entire conversations that had little to do with their contract. Lacy finally invited Luke out to watch a Saints game at Finn's with her friends, and the rest is history.
Luke likes to say that he was not looking for anything serious but wouldn't pass up the right opportunity - it seems he found it! Lacy had pretty much decided to move to Calcutta and become a nun - and then there was Luke.
The two Pisces went on to date for about 18 months before Luke popped the question on Facebook Live with lots of family and friends in what could only be described as Lacy's dream proposal.
Luke's favorite thing about Lacy is her understanding spirit. Lacy's favorite thing about Luke is his ability to make the worst situation seem like it's not so bad. Each one considers the other to be a true blessing from God.
Both are super excited to marry and begin their lives with God first and the best family and friends anyone could ever hope for.
