How did you first meet?
In 2016, Nick and Mal first met as freshman chemistry lab partners during Chem 129 class at Purdue University. Nick always seemed to make Mallory laugh during the experiments because of his foggy goggles and jokes, while Nick appreciated how Mallory prepared A-worthy lab reports that saved his grade. Even after the class ended, they remained good friends and talked all the time. A year later during their sophomore year of undergrad, they finally started dating, and the rest is history!

Who made the first move? How?
Nick made the first move! He was super nervous! He offered to walk Mal back to her dorm room in the middle of the day where they proceeded to talk for hours before he eventually asked her on a date in front of Windsor Hall at Purdue. He proposed in the same place he asked her on their first date.
How did you propose?
Nick planned a secret proposal in West Lafayette, IN with their families. Nick told Mallory he made dinner plans with her family at Purdue. As per usual, Mallory was running late and insisted on bringing the dog (Ada). The whole way down to Purdue, he was so nervous! When they arrived at Purdue, Nick, Mallory, and Ada walked around campus to Windsor Dorm. Nick proposed in the same place he originally asked her on a date! Nick's family was hiding in the nearby bushes to capture the special moment. Later, Mallory's family surprised them on campus to celebrate the new engagement!
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
So far, we do not have any honeymoon plans due to time and budget, but we plan to honeymoon in the upcoming years!
What's your favorite activity together?
We love to explore the local community, stay physically active, and try new cuisines! Most importantly, we love to spend quality time together and play with Ada Moe, our Great Dane.
What's the best meal you have eaten together?
Nick's favorite meal is homemade lasagna, so for their anniversary every year, they always make homemade lasagna. Over the years, they have perfected their recipe!

We are regulars at
Fiesta Burrito in West Lafayette, IN. While we were living at Purdue, the owner of the restaurant memorized our orders!
Teach us something about
Pharmacy and Medicine! Mallory is currently a pharmacist, and Nick is pursuing his MD with the hopes of practicing surgery. They are both passionate about healthcare and empowering patients to live their healthiest life!
