The rite for the consecration of virgins belongs to the treasures of the Roman liturgy. Jesus Christ left holy virginity as a legacy to His bride, one of his most precious gifts. Since the times of the Apostles, virgins consecrated their chastity to God, adorning the Church and enriching it with fecundity. They constitute a special image of the Heavenly Bride and of the life to come when the Church will at last fully live her love for Christ the Bridegroom. The rite with be live-streamed as well

Join us for a reception immediately following the consecration mass at Seghers hall (the Cathedral basement), for some refreshments and community. Weather and grass permitting we may also have s'mores by fire outside in the Cathedral garden. Looking forward to celebrating with all of you! This is a preview to the wedding banquet of the Lamb!
