Kelly and Matt first met while Kelly was at her peak. She was dressed head to toe as, well, a cat. There are many great stories, some in print, that Matt would love to share with you about this time in her life. We digress, Kelly was Wild E. Cat, the UNH mascot, and Matt was just himself. They high-fived and moved on for years to come.

Years later, at a place as romantic as they come, the Thirsty Moose, Kelly, and Matt connected again. This first date ended with essentially another high-five and Kelly was convinced we would never see each other again. Do you blame her, he said “see you around”. After dating for a few months, Kelly convinced Matt to let her watch Jackson, the best damn lab in the land. Her secret plot to get Matt to fall deeply in love.

Taking on the task of teaching Kelly to ski, Matt was thrilled when she seemingly picked up the sport with ease, minus the one ACL. Together they have explored countless different mountains in New England and Canada while trying loads of new beers along the way.

Over the past five years, the relationship has changed in many ways. They have added jobs, changed jobs, added another dog to the family, and gone from long-distance to settling into a home in the white mountains. They are blessed to have a wonderful life in the mountains and equally blessed to have you as a part of their lives.
